Nathaniel Glasser, Member of the Firm, co-presents “AI on the Job: Navigating Risk in the Age of Predictive, Generative, and Agentic Technologies” at the 2026 ABA ERR Committee Midwinter Meeting & National Symposium on Technology in Labor & Employment Law, which runs from March 10 to 13.
Artificial intelligence is transforming the workplace, but not without legal consequences. This panel will examine how evolving categories of AI technologies—predictive, generative and agentic—are reshaping employment practices and introducing new layers of risk. While these categories are not mutually exclusive, they help illustrate the progression of AI capabilities and associated legal concerns.
As AI continues to advance, these technologies are increasingly being integrated into more complex, multifunctional systems that combine predictive analytics, generative outputs, and autonomous decision-making in sophisticated ways. From algorithmic hiring tools and automated performance evaluations to AI-generated workplace content and autonomous decision-making agents, each type of AI raises distinct legal challenges on its own and even more complex challenges when combined in advanced, integrated tools.
Panelists will explore issues such as bias and discrimination, privacy, transparency, and liability, offering practical insights for compliance and risk management from the perspectives of employers, employees, and developers in an increasingly AI-driven workforce.
