Trial-tested litigator brings two decades of wage and hour class action defense and PAGA experience to firm's national employment practice

Epstein Becker Green announced today that Jennifer S. McGeorge has joined the firm's Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice as a Member of the Firm in Los Angeles.

McGeorge is a trial-tested employment defense attorney with more than two decades of experience defending public and private employers in complex wage and hour class actions, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions, and high-stakes single-plaintiff disputes across California state and federal courts.

"Jennifer's track record in California's challenging employment litigation landscape makes her a terrific addition to our team," said David W. Garland, Chair of Epstein Becker Green's National Employment, Labor & Workforce Management Steering Committee. "Her ability to secure favorable outcomes in wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters, combined with her deep understanding of California's difficult regulatory environment, improves our capacity to deliver creative defense solutions for clients facing the state's most complex employment challenges."

McGeorge focuses on defending employers in wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, and single-plaintiff claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and breach of contract. She has secured numerous favorable verdicts and decisions as first-chair counsel in trials, arbitrations, and California Labor Commissioner hearings, and has successfully opposed class certification motions and decertified wage and hour classes. Her experience spans diverse industries including security, senior living, manufacturing, construction, transportation, insurance, hospitality, and professional services.

"My practice centers on translating complex legal exposures into clear, actionable defense strategies that protect my clients’ business objectives," said McGeorge. "Epstein Becker Green's national platform and deep employment law experience provide an exceptional foundation for delivering the proactive, results-driven counsel that California employers need to navigate in today's litigation environment."

"Jennifer's arrival continues our strategic expansion in California, where employers face some of the nation's most complex and employee-friendly employment regulations," said Jonathan Brenner, Managing Member of Epstein Becker Green's Los Angeles office. "Her combination of courtroom success, coupled with her preventative counseling and public sector experience, positions us to serve the full spectrum of California employers with sophisticated, practical solutions."

McGeorge's addition follows the firm's Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice being recognized as Law360's "Employment Law Firm of the Year" in 2025.
