Washington, DC (July 7, 2025)Epstein Becker Green proudly announces that Paul DeCamp, Member of the Firm, has been elected as a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. This prestigious recognition stands as one of the highest honors in the field, celebrating attorneys who have demonstrated sustained, exceptional contributions to labor and employment law while epitomizing integrity, dedication, and excellence.

With three decades of experience serving clients from California to Washington, DC, DeCamp has solidified his position as a go-to advisor for his clients’ most pressing wage and hour issues. His election as a Fellow underscores his profound impact on the legal profession and his unwavering commitment to advancing labor and employment law.

“I am deeply honored to be recognized as a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers,” said DeCamp. “This distinction is both humbling and a testament to the trust my clients have generously granted me over the years. I look forward to contributing actively to the College’s initiatives.”

DeCamp brings a comprehensive perspective to employer advocacy, drawing on his service as the Administrator of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division under President George W. Bush. During his tenure, he was responsible for interpreting and enforcing the nation’s wage and hour laws, giving him critical insights into complex regulatory frameworks. This depth of experience informs his work at Epstein Becker Green, where he co-chairs the firm’s Wage and Hour Practice Group and serves on the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management Steering Committee.

Throughout his career, DeCamp has been an exceptional advocate for large private employers and government contractors, providing strategic counsel in high-stakes wage and hour litigation, class and mass actions, and regulatory investigations. His experience spans defending pay practices for exempt and non-exempt employees, navigating disputes involving independent contractors, and spearheading corporate compliance initiatives. He also has succeeded in challenging government overreach, including achieving a notable appellate decision that vacated a federal regulation post-Chevron and altered the landscape of federal wage and hour law.

Beyond his legal practice, DeCamp is a sought-after speaker at industry events and contributor to top-tier legal publications. He has also testified before Congress on critical workplace issues, including wage and hour enforcement, overtime regulations, and protections for tipped employees.

DeCamp’s contributions have not only elevated his clients’ successes but also broadened the legal community’s understanding of labor and employment law. Epstein Becker Green celebrates this milestone in his distinguished career and congratulates him on this well-deserved honor.

DeCamp joins colleagues David W. Garland, Steven M. Swirsky, and Adam S. Forman in becoming Fellows of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, underscoring the firm’s deep bench of nationally recognized talent in the field.

The installation of the 2025 Class of Fellows will be held on November 15, 2025, in Denver, Colorado.
