Overview

Attorney Anita Lodi counsels and defends employers in a broad range of complex employment litigation matters, protecting clients’ reputations and business objectives.

Anita represents clients in class and representative actions and single-plaintiff litigation. Her practice focuses on defending employers against claims of wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, discrimination, and misclassification, with a particular emphasis on complex wage and hour class actions and representative actions under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). She manages all stages of litigation, from initial case assessment and discovery through mediation and settlement.

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Anita was an attorney in the Los Angeles office of a national law firm, where she worked on employment matters, and at a California law firm, where she handled plaintiff-side class actions.

Anita earned a bachelor’s degree in Canada, a law degree in the United Kingdom, and a Master of Laws in the United States, gaining an international legal perspective that informs how she assists and defends employers.
