Overview

Attorney Caitlin Carlton supports health care and life sciences organizations in a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.

With a detail-oriented, client-focused approach, Caitlin advises clients on compliance with health care fraud and abuse, reimbursement, and contracting matters, and provides guidance on evolving federal and state regulatory requirements. She also supports clients through disputes, restructuring efforts, and transactional filings.

Caitlin first joined Epstein Becker Green as a summer associate, gaining hands-on experience in health care matters. During law school, she served as a judicial intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee. In that role, Caitlin drafted trial and appellate motions related to a variety of civil and criminal offenses. She also completed an externship at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana, where she supported federal prosecutors in fraud-and-abuse enforcement actions.

Before law school, Caitlin served as a legislative intern for Senator Richard Briggs in the Tennessee General Assembly, where she worked on legislative initiatives and gained insight into the intersection of law and government.
