Dinu advises private and exempt organization clients on the design, implementation, and administration of a wide range of benefit programs, including health and welfare plans, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, and executive compensation arrangements. Drawing on her government and private practice experience, she provides strategic counsel on compliance with applicable federal laws, including ERISA, the Affordable Care Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and the employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Dinu also assists clients in negotiating third-party service provider agreements.

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Dinu served as a General Attorney (Tax) in the Health and Welfare Branch of the Office of Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). In this role, she provided legal advice on tax code sections related to health and welfare, assisted in drafting guidance, and consulted on health- and welfare-related litigation. Previously, she was an Employee Benefits attorney at a national law firm in Columbus, where she counseled clients on plan administration and compliance and advised on the impact of employee benefits on mergers and acquisitions. During law school, Dinu served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Jeffrey Sutton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and for the Honorable Algenon Marbley of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
