Overview

Attorney Kelsey Switzer partners with employers to navigate complex labor-management challenges and create compliant, productive workplaces.

She delivers practical, business-focused advice grounded in a deep understanding of how employment decisions play out in real time.

Kelsey provides counsel on a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including FMLA compliance, ADA accommodations, hiring practices, performance management, and internal investigations. She represents employers in litigation against claims of wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Employers also rely on her to handle labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and EEOC and state agency matters.

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Kelsey spent 12 years in-house, most recently at a Midwest-based energy company. In that role, she managed employment litigation and labor arbitrations while advising on a broad spectrum of labor and employment law issues in a highly regulated environment. Earlier in her career, she was Staff Counsel in the Employment Law and Benefits Group for the North American arm of a global automotive company, providing strategic day-to-day guidance on workforce issues.

Kelsey’s in-house experience allows her to approach matters with a strong appreciation for business priorities, risk tolerance, and operational realities—helping employers make informed decisions with confidence.
