Overview

Sahar Tirmizi* helps health care organizations address legal and operational challenges, drawing on her experience in health policy and government affairs.

Health care organizations rely on Sahar to help translate complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance. She assists with building tailored compliance and governance programs for health care clients, navigating government and internal investigations, and analyzing how regulatory and policy developments could affect client operations and transactions.

Sahar's background bridges health care delivery, legislative advocacy, and international health law. She holds a Master of Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine, where her capstone work focused on implementing informed-consent best practices in the delivery of medical care. At a regional hospital association, she analyzed health care policy across jurisdictions, authoring advocacy memoranda for state and local officials, while synthesizing legislation to guide hospital administration and compliance teams. During law school at Georgetown University Law Center, she completed international legal practicums, where she translated global health frameworks into domestic policy, including addressing nutrition regulation in Kenya and systemic barriers to health care access in South Africa.

Sahar began her career at Epstein Becker Green as a summer associate in the firm’s New York office, gaining valuable experience in health care and life sciences matters.
