Epstein Becker Green makes this week's list, after a North Carolina federal judge on Wednesday refused to certify a new round of collective and class claims against auto parts manufacturer GKN Driveline North America.
U.S. District Judge Catherine C. Eagles denied motions to certify Fair Labor Standards Act collectives and Rule 23 classes covering workers at three North Carolina manufacturing plants, finding in the longstanding litigation that workers challenging off-the-clock work failed to show their claims could be efficiently resolved on group basis.
